"This was my first time staying at the YMCA of the Rockies. I had no idea how big the property was, and all the different facilities there were. There were "camps" of children and teenagers while I was there, but the building I was in was very quiet. I stayed there to visit Rocky Mountain National Park, so was not in my room that much, but when I was there, the people around were very pleasant."

"We chose Grand Lake Lodge for its beautiful location. The half-cabin is small. The shower is very small. We didn't expect to spend a lot of time in the room so it was not a big issue for us given the reasonable price and the excellent amenities in common areas. We greatly enjoyed the deck by the fire with the beautiful view. We would stay here again."

"The rooms need more lighting. For the price, I was a little disappointed in the room. The mattresses slide all over the bed, the pillows are very hard and pillow case was on inside out. With the shades closed, the room is very dark. The lights hang over the bed and are easy to bump. The coffee pot did not work properly. And there is a $15 amenity fee daily. We didn’t use the pool. So we paid for 1 s'mores bag. Meals and alcohol are very expensive. "

"Our room had to have been the most spic n span room I have ever stayed in thru all of my travels.If I had to critique something about the room itself it would be the TV. We could not get the t.v to stay on and we were too tired to fight with it. The hutch shouldnt be needed with a tv that small unless you sit the the tv on top of the hutch so both beds can watch it..its too small to view where its sitting now.
