"net appartement, goede ligging en de host was erg vriendelijk, alhoewel zij nauwelijks engels sprak. Edil was heel behulpzaam. dit apartement is zeker een aanrader en wij zouden er de volgende keer weer willen verblijven. Het was compleet. het enige nadeel was dat het zo erg gehorig was,vooral de bovenburen"

"Its a decent resort style hotel in the Oasis chain. Not particularly close to anything, but thats fine when all you want to do is relax by the pool. There is no beach - beach in Praia is blah, better to go to Sal or Boa Vista for quality beaches. Room was correct, nice balcony overlooking the water and view on Fogo volcano, which was neat! AC worked well, wifi was sometimes spotty but ok in general. Good towels. Front desk staff were helpful and responded to a request to fix the sink to drain...

"Excellently positioned on Praia Plateau, which is full of history and culture. The Santa Maria has friendly, cheerful, Caboverdean staff and is comfortable, clean and caring. Buffet breakfast is delicious and it has a lift. The only minor problem is it’s sometimes hard to get on the WiFi."
