"I booked this on behalf of a friend and they showed me around. It’s a fab mix of old-fashioned comfort and modern amenities and scrupulously clean. The bedroom (Judge Huddlestone) was enormous with a bathroom to match. Tea & coffee in the room but, if you want to be sociable, head for the living area where comfortable sofas, a (mock) log fire and even a chess board ready for play invites you to sit and relax. "3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."
