"I loved my room, it was clean, beautiful (you opened the windows right out onto the canal. I thought maybe it would be noisy at night, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was VERY quiet around 9pm! I liked the privacy or one or two rooms on the second floor. I would definitely stay there when I come back again to Venice. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Los espacios en los hospedajes en Venecia suelen ser pequeños y no se puede pedir mucho. Para nuestras maletas pesadas fue solo un poco de esfuerzo requerido para subirlas un piso. El internet fue un verdadero problema porque necesitaba estar trabajando y el servicio era pésimo. Demasiado lento, o con desconexiones. Al final de la estadía, tiempo después del check out, pedí en recepción si me podían prestar un baño antes de salir de la ciudad pero me fue negado y eso no me pareció muy bien...

"The room provided plenty of space to move around and was very comfortable. We even had a balcony. The location was walking distance to all major attractions. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We had continental breakfast delivered every morning and it was included. I would definitely recommend Al Portico Guest house for your stay in Venice. "

"Beautiful small property with visually stunning touches. It's a somewhat unusual mix of a boutique hotel and an Airbnb, e.g. no front desk or maid service. Fantastic base for us to explore Venice for a few days. Centrally located with a 10-15 minute walk to St. Mark's and the Rialto, 5-10 minute walk to water taxi services, 20-25 minute walk to the train station and automobile pickups. Also, the restaurant right next door, Hostaria Bacanaria, was one of the best meals of our whole trip."

"The property is remotely managed and so there's no 24 desk. You have a contact number and any queries you have are answered quickly. The only difficulty we had was finding the door to the property but a very helpful waiter from one of the restaurants in the area quickly showed us and once we buzzed the door we were let in and the key to our room was exactly where we had been advised. We stayed in conchiglie room and it had the most lovely painting on the ceiling and a very comfortable bed. The...
