Very nice little place. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Lovely courtyard. Comfortable bed but small. Right on the walking street. Close to shopping and restaurants. Ribe is a very hyggelig little town.

Liked the charm and character, especially the courtyard where you could sit and enjoy coffee in the morning or beer in the afternoon. The room was quaint but needed a few additional items such as a small table beside the bed and something in the bathroom to put toiletries on.

Very nice staff, spacious room, excellent location!!! Unfortunately, the foundation mattress in our room was not properly supported underneath and we both woke up in the center of the bed with terribly sore backs. A properly supported, good mattress, should be a minimum requirement for a hotel.

Everyone was so friendly & helpful, and they spoke English. Jens helped us old people get the luggage up the stairs & gave helpful tips & directions. The hotel itself was old and quaint, just as it should be for the oldest town in Denmark. Step outside the hotel door, and we were on the village’s main pedestrian walkway. The whole experience was a wonderful step back in time for us.

The room was very basic but what can you expect from a house that was build in 1668,so for us it was ok.The personnel was very helpful and friendly and the house was located in the center of the village. our car was parked 300 m away(for free) so that was also no issue for us. Anyway it was a very nice experience to stay in this very cosy hotel from 1668

The place was very cute and cozy, the owner gave us a great tip for a tour and some tips about where stuff was and when things were open. They rearranged the breakfast for us as we don’t eat meat. Would have been nice if that was an option we could have shared in advance and not been teased about. But in the end we had a really relaxed and restful stay and the building itself is really cool. Felt as if we had travelled back in time, except that there was a very clean bathroom ;) ( v.modern) Highly recommend!

Sehr gute zentrale Lage. Perfekt für einen Stadtbummel. Freundlicher Empfang/Chef persönlich. Sehr altes Gebäude mit viel Charme. Die Betten sind mit 140cm leider sehr schmal/eng für 2 große Erwachsene. Dort sollte über etwas komfortablere / breitere Betten nachgedacht werden. Ansonsten alles okay inklusive eines guten Frühstück.

Det var et udemærket sted på Postgården i Ribe. Super venlig, opmærksom og rar betjening. Vi vil helst sikkert vælge Postgården igen. Morgenmaden var helt igennem fantastisk 👍

Julehygge i skønne omgivelser

Vi havde et skøn ophold på postgården. Ribe var pyntet op i anledningen af julen nærmede sig og der var faldet sne. Vi kunne ikke have ønsket os mere. Rammerne på Postgården var nostalgisk og det kan vi godt lide. Personalet var hjælpsom og imødekommende.

Der Empfang war herzlich und wir wurden mit wertvollen Tipps versorgt. Der Gastgeber war hilfsbereit und freundlich, was zu einer sehr persönlichen und angenehmen Atmosphäre beigetragen hat. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und die zentrale Lage war ideal für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren absolut urig und gemütlich, was unserem Aufenthalt eine besondere Note verlieh. Obwohl wir nur für eine Nacht dort waren und zu viert unterwegs, waren wir insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!
