"What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

Too far to walk. also check in is not until 5pm so you lose a day waiting around with your luggage staff do not turn up until 5 pm on the dot the rest of the time it is like the Marie Celeste. They were making some construction updates to the hotel while we stayed and as a result we had some issues with our room and the gentleman at the front desk was so incredibly helpful. And they gave us so much great advice about where to park and what to do nearby. The room was small but matched the listed description, so it was exactly upon our expectations. Would stay here again. "Lovely gite/b&b with our own gite to stay in. It was off season but Antoine still made the stay comfortable and supplied a lovely breakfast with local cheeses and charcuterie. Close to the local city of Amboise (5-6 min drive) with its castle and some great restaurant options and only 30ish minutes from Tours. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and the shower pressure was GREAT! "
