"El Conquistador is HUGE! It is beautiful. Things I loved: The water park, Palomino Island, the swim up pool bar, the spa, the rooftop bar, the daily, varying activities-day & night. Things I did not like: Service, food took long to come. Over priced. The many areas of the resort also range in quality. We had a standard room in Las Brisas, which seems to be an older not recently renovated area of the resort. The room was clean, had a beautiful ocean view and was spacious for our family of 3....

"Be extremely careful of the parking garage entrance. It has 2 exits and 1 entrance in a parking garage that only has 1 way in & 1 way out. So not sure why there are 2 "out" gates, but it makes for a frightfully narrow entrance. Be very careful. I damaged my rental car with their awfully narrow entrance, as many others before me did. The colorful paint damage to the wall tells the story. Otherwise the hotel was spectacular and the views were wonderful."

"Great hotel with great amenities. Easy accessible to the beach. It’s a bit far from San Juan so the only thing is it can be a little hard to set up transportation for excursions if you’re not planning to rent a car."
