"Not sure how you rate a hotel like this...it is not a 5 star resort and you certainly aren't paying for that but it is basic and very clean and the rooms are comfortable. It is in a great location with two good restaurants adjacent. Probably the top 3 restaurants. Parking can be challenging so plan accordingly. Meaning don't wait until dinner to park your car. I recommend paying the difference to get the water view rooms. They are small rooms but again clean and recently updated."

"Amanda, the owner, was very pleasant. I didn’t get her name, but the woman at the store’s register was great and very personable. "It was a wonderful experience in a tranquil setting. The open plan brought nature into our living space. Up on the mountain top, the trade winds kept the room cool and comfortable. Yoga each morning was a delight. It was a short trip to any of the beaches and many restaurants. It was stocked with breakfast supplies and with a quick trip to the market, lunch was covered too. Don’t miss the bioluminescent bay tour or the black sand beach. We already want to go back next year. "

"The resort is beautiful and there is a lot to do with kids of all ages. The water park and Palamino island are great days. The service was pretty poor. Our room was clean when we got there but it was not properly cleaned throughout our stay. We found glasses and mugs that were dirty in the sink were just put back in the cabinet without being cleaned. It was very busy during Presidents week so there were waits for most things. "We love the pools and private island. We stay in the marina and it was a challenge when one of the elevators that take you to the marine got broken almost at dinner time. The line to go up was crazy and people were mad. The restaurants are also small and under staff, so without a reservation the only option to eat is for to go orders at the bar.
