"This place was straight out of the 1970's, you even fill out a Guest Registration CARD, yes, that's right, an actual card that you write on with a pen. I haven't done that in tbe US for over 30 years. :) This place is super retro, a blast from the past, the staff was super friendly and the bed was comfy, the place could have been cleaner but it was okay. If you want to experience an old school motel, this is the place. :)"

"The place was lovely and every member of the staff was processional and helpful. I arrived late and the keys were left inside the box. The security guy came out right away when I called. The only problem was the noise from the upper floor Thank you for such a pleasant stay."

"Very nice condo with lots of room and all the basic supplies you need for a few days or a few weeks! The staff members are welcoming and keep in touch to make sure your stay is satisfactory. The condo was clean, modern and in good repair. Highly recommended!"

"I really enjoyed my stay here. This was my first time coming out to North Carolina for the Land of Oz park and the convenience of this location can’t be beat. "Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. "

"We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. We hope to return! 10 out of 10 all around!! "

"The ONLY complaint I would have and was a surprise to us was that you unload your car and then park your vehicle back down the hill and then have to take a shuttle back to your car. You can’t just walk out and get in your car. The shuttle was quick don’t get me wrong but it was a little bit of a hassle. The place is clean, the view is awesome, it’s quiet and your literally on top of a mountain, felt safe and guarded, pool and hot tub was amazing. We had a handicap sticker for one of our vehicle...
