"Very close to station, buses and Isle of Wight link. Many pubs and restaurants. Room and bed were good. Shower. super. Atmosphere is unique. It reminded me of a hall of residence and retired sailors home. Staff really helpful and kind. It is a charity and therefore feels bigger"hearted than the big hotel chains. Restaurant fine but wine could be better! The VERY BEST UNI QUE feature of this quaint club-hotel is the guest launderette in the basement if u are coming off a ship or traveling around...

"Room was hot, bathroom odd (shower opened onto bedroom! Sink in bedroom) But was cheap and not terrible. Had to hike five minutes to a mediocre pub to get a meal. Closer restaurants were all fast fude (Mickey D’s, Subway, the Colonel). Parking was across a busy street in a shopping center parking lot. "

"The hotel was in an excellent location. Bar service and breakfast both good. Hotel car parking is expensive £12 per night. If you happen to have a blue badge then there is free parking right across from main entrance. Only negative have never been in such a small bathroom. Literally hit of wall when trying to turn round.
