"Great place overall. Very accommodating when our flight got canceled. Comfortable beds, clean restroom, housekeepers were great, stocked coffee everyday and all staff were very friendly. The amount of noise surrounding the area was constant, people yelling(all hours of the night), actually saw a fight one morning. However, it is close to many restaurants and centrally located, walking distance to many attractions. "

"Room was nice. Walking distance to the waterfront, but it’s a climb back up. Kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately there was construction right in front of the hotel (not their fault at all) which made access very confusing and difficult. The hotel sent information in advance, but until you are there trying to navigate it, you don’t really understand. "

"Parking, first in first served. This was stated, then i received an email asking if I wanted parking, i said yes then got another email saying first in first served! Why ask? The only complaint about the room we had was the bathroom door was squeaky and woke up my husband when i opened it during the night. Otherwise, comfy bed, great pillows, good temperature, great shower and plenty of room for 2. "

"A dish towel in the lovely kitchen or paper towel would be much appreciated. We realize that cruise ship and airline passengers come and go at inconvenient times for cleaning staff. If you realize that someone is sitting in the lobby after a very long flight calling your cleaning staff to get their rooms ready asap would be most appreciated. Sitting awaiting 2:00 pm is further exhausting for your guests. NZ is in a unique position for passengers arriving mid-morning after a 14 hour flight. "

"Great hotel, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable , have a kitchen with fridge and freezer. Location is about 10-15mins walk to the centre and a lot of parking space closeby (free in weekends, during weekdays 3.5 NZD for the first 2 hours after that 6NZD per hour (8am-6pm))"

"Great location and in spite of its proximity to the motorway, room was very quiet. Having the supermarket 3 minutes walk away is also very convenient. The dishwasher wasn’t working and they knew this when they put me in the room so that was a touch annoying but once I reported the issue, house keeping kindly washed up all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. "

"Decent location, well appointed room but a little tired, amazing breakfast buffet! Top 10 in our 70 countries thus far. Room, lounge, chandlier restaurant all could have been a bit cleaner (especially compared to the rest of NZ hotels and restaurants which are typically spotless!). We arrived 15 min before 3pm and couldn't check into our room, so they took our bags and we had lunch. "Long wait in reception to be checked in. Dirty big footprint on the tiles showed the floor hadn’t been mopped. Outlook on to drab construction. Nespresso machine made a super bitter horrid coffee. Room service came with out salt or pepper. "
