"This property has a certain charm, is very atmospheric with pretty gardens, but seems passed its prime. The room we were given smelled strongly of mold, the private pool was too gross to swim in, the small beach was not inviting and everything generally felt decrepit, dirty and in poor condition. After complaining and showing staff our issues with the room, we were eventually moved to another one which was much better. Our experience wasn't great but some may like it and staff was responsive....

"Its as beachfront as you could want, without being on a beachfront resort. Only a tiny passage for peeps to walk between u n ocean. End of the rd. Just enough for taxi to drop u off at door. Its a hidden gem. Locals frequent. Far enough away from the busy end of a really nice beach. Water is deeper n cleaner too!"

"Just an amazing quiet hotel a little away from the sizzling noise of the city. Food and service was excellent and maybe some of the best cocktails we had in all the Philippines. "The hotel itself is nice for the price, aircon works great and clean with nice staff. However, the location isnt walking distance to anything (not even a place to get water/snacks), so you have to hail a tricycle on the road to go anywhere. 300P to alona beach where there is things to do. Internet was 10 - MBPs, and GLOBE Cell service is great there. so if you have your own motorbike (rental) or driver service its a good budget hotel."
