My wife and I came from the US for our honeymoon for 7 days and we loved our stay! To be honest, we were worried after reading some of the reviews, but the staff was helpful and prompt, the property was clean, the pools were nice, and the beach was great! They have an awesome on-site booth to purchase excursions which we did multiple of! The only downsides we can only think of were the showers could use some updating! The food is decent; Nothing to write home about but not bad. There is quite a bit of walking, as the property is large, but truly nothing to complain about unless you are elderly or have some health issues. The animals on the property keep to themselves and are so cute! Overall, I’d say if you’re looking for a cheap, fun, good, place to stay and go out and see Costa Rica, this is your spot! If you’re looking for exquisite food, super nice rooms, and premium liquor, I’d go somewhere else:)

Property was beautiful, food was delicious! Tours were amazing beach massage with Gladys was awesome.Only thing is is that they only provide four linens and you can only eat at the restaurants every three nights… also there’s no top shelf liquor

transportation that was said would get you to and from the airport they tried to make extra charges, even though on site it says $60 for there and back. You have to be careful Because raccoons were everywhere

Our room and view was lovely. Poolside bar closes at 5:30pm, very disappointing. All-inclusive was more like Restricted-inclusive. Room service was only available until 9:30pm. No available snacks during the day. Dining rooms were only open specific hours.

The property, pool area and ocean were very nice. Tennis/pickleball at an extra charge ridiculous. Sporadic shuttle service up and down hills. Food at buffet offered inexpensive main course options. Salads and deserts were good along with service. No one answers phone at front desk. Rude staff unless they were selling you something. Expensive tours from hotel. Use Viator instead. Remote.

The grounds were beautiful, however that did not make up for the uneven walkways, very limited lighting. Walking around the resort at night was scary at times with the local wildlife making themselves very well known they were present. Transport even know they were called would often not show up. The pools were refreshing, however once in the pool you could see mold along the walls and sharp broken.tiles. Some of the staff were amazing and some of the staff were terrible, rude, argumentative. When we paid for things at the store or at front desk we often heard sorry we dont have change and were often expected to leave the difference as a tip. I believe there needs to be some necessary repairs and well overdue retraining.

The staff were lovely. Sandra at the front desk was extremely helpful. Claudia our frequent waitress was a delight. Katy our bartender always had a top notch suggestion. Mariana provided us with dinner reservations and the biggest smile. This place is about the people.

Liked the balance of play and relaxation around the property. The staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend it to others. The only thing I would share to others is that the sidewalks and steps can be dangerous, since it is built into a side of a hill. I like the exercise, but other might not. Always wear shoes into the ocean, due to sea urchins, they ruined some people vaca.

This was an incredible trip! It is very quiet, no parties, but incredibly friendly and beautiful. It was absolutely perfect. It is a small resort on a big property so the staff get to know you by name. The food was delicious, the drinks were great and the property was spectacular. Lots of monkeys and iguanas and birds. We recommend this resort to anyone wanting to take in the beautiful Costa Rican culture.

This property overall was ok. For starters we had booked our room months and months in advance and after a long 7 hour drive from the southern part of Costa Rica we arrived to a check in lady stating that we had NO RESERVATION at the property. To top it off she was very rude about it. After about 10 minutes she finally let us in begrudgingly. The second check in person was much more sympathetic and found our reservation. Secondly, after we had got to our room we found that it was relatively dirty with poop stains near the toilet paper roll dispenser and a toilet that was broken and leaking all over the floor. The corners of the room no matter where you looked were dusty and covered in dead bugs and hair from whoever had stayed previously. On the upside, the beach was beautiful and pools were in good condition and the rest of the staff was overall very helpful. The food was decent as well. Hopefully anyone staying here has a better experience than we did so overall I cannot rate this resort as highly as it should’ve been.

Pros: Staff were great. Very nice and helpful and quick to help with any issue or need. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Rooms were clean. They also give you a bracelet that won’t come off that has a small chip that is your room key…which was very helpful and kind of genius. Lots of activities on property as well. Cons: Food was kind of terrible. Especially the buffet and snack grill. The dinner restaurants were better but still not awesome (oriental was the only really good one). The restaurants were also not truly all inclusive in the way of being able to order multiple things if you wanted. You chose one starter, one soup/salad or something similiar, one entree and one dessert but couldn’t order more of something if you wanted it. There is also a crazy amount of stairs and walking to get anywhere. They had a shuttle service which was helpful but means you also had to call for it and wait each time. Sometimes just a minute or two, sometimes longer. It was 2 flights of stairs and a slight uphill walk (or more stairs) just to get from our room to the lobby/buffet…and I was in the closest building. It wasn’t the end of the world for us but my older parents traveled with us and struggled. I wouldn’t have booked this resort had I known but they don’t say anything about it in any descriptions. Overall, we still had a great time.

Snorkeling wasn’t any good because the water was so murky! Otherwise enjoyed our stay!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Both times have been great! Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

Check-in got things off to a rough start, unfortunately. The front desk person was unfriendly and provided zero information about the resort. We had to find out about resort activities, transportation around the resort, gym/spa, basically everything on our own as our stay unfolded. Our room was also not ready at check in time and we had to wait almost 2 hours to get into a room. The place grew on us as we got into the next day but the layout of the property is definitely a pain depending on which building you’re in. We tried calling for transportation several times during our stay but those at guest services and transportation didn’t answer the phone. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with mobility challenges.
