"This was the wors motel that I have ever stayed in. The bag covers under the sheets were covered in urine stains, and what it looked like, blood. "Some issues with the toilet not flushing well but otherwise was a great place. The rooftop pool had an amazing view to just relax in the evening even if not getting into the pool. The location was convenient to just walk to French quarter, river walk and convention center. I would stay there again if I come back to New Orleans "

"I loved this place. A little studio apt with everything you might need. Also pool and hot tub and courtyard out back. It was very quiet at nighttime. I was nervous because I had read reviews about trying to be sold on a timeshare. The concierge did try to convince me to go at check in but when I said “I’ll let you know”, she did not bother me about it the rest of the trip. Therefore, zero issues with that. "I was afraid of this place having loud music, cold water in the shower and unsecured luggage storage. Neither of those things were the case! There is a secure luggage storage room that is accessible to all hotel guests, but I do think with two points of access entry, it's a risk worth taking as I think most guests would be vigilant of a thief trying to get access. There definitely doesn't appear to be a nearby convenience store and no blasting of music, at least on the side facing Perdido...

"This location is in the heart of the party. If you want to see Bourbon street at its finest and ugliest, this is the spot to be. The faculty are extremely friendly in the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean. The power plugs next to the bed were very loose, and they need to be updated -- our chargers would just fall out of them. "I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "
