"The property is absolutely marvelous, has welcoming staff and is very safe. I and my family felt reassured about the safety of our personal belongings. The room were impeccably clean and the service prompt. I would definitely recommend Waterberg Game Park to anyone wanting to get some serenity and revive themselves from the city life."

"We had a lovely stay. So impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment. Friendly staff... The only problem we had was the contact number given on our confirmation was incorrect. The last digit was wrong, and we struggled to get hold of the establishment. Also if we can make a suggestions, of having visible signage on the outside of the establishment as there is none, only once you enter the premises. This would make it a bit easier for guests who are unfamiliar with the area."

"This is truly a great place to stay. Bettie was friendly during our check in. Great breakfast and Johan and Ronel very friendly hosts. Nice view over the dam and Pretty Pig is a nice size unit."

"This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "

"Fantastic size and cleanliness with plenty of supplies (milk, tea, coffee, fruit, cleaning products) provided. Staff would assist with anything uncluding washing up and laundry, so not really "self-catering" if you wish. Note: parys of road can be rough depending on rainfall so I would not use a sedan, but at least a light SUV. "

"The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."

"We had a great stay. Useful information was provided before our stay to ensure our preparedness. Accommodation was spacious and clean. There were no issues collecting our keys and the caretaker was really helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay again "

"OK ish to stay with dogs. However the road to get to the property is terrible terrible terrible. We slipped off the Provincial sand road due to mud. However the real challenge is to get to the farm house. Not fun at all especially when wet. We won't visit again because of challenges to get to the property. Real pity. "

"Check in was bad and the welcome not good due to us booking on hotels.com and the manager did not know how to claim the free nights I had and booked for it. Then she tried to tell us we had to pay and later came to sort of apologize but just not a good reception Management is really bad at your property and the place is going backwards as no one sees to it that things get repaired in the cabins or that cleanlines is maintained. "The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Samson the caretaker was very efficient and helpful. He also provided an excellent breakfast. I would recommend staying here if you are in transit, however if wanting to tour the area there are probably more picturesque places that would enable you to walk from your accommodation."

"Kruger Park Lodge in general is a very nice property. The property is very well kept, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. "The staff was attentive and helpful to our needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The game tours are amazing and I enjoyed seeing some of the big 5! I do recommended doing an afternoon tour as well as an all day tour. The food options were ok enjoyed breakfast more than dinner. The resort is wonderful and I was able to see a Hurd of elephants by the pool before sunset. I would recommend this place to others and stay here again if I am in Kruger! "

"Have stayed here many many times over the years, always on our way to the Kruger National Park and sometimes on our way out. I would very highly recommend staying here. It has very nice and easy, peaceful and relaxing feel about the place. Just the job to unwind after a long journey. The staff are always some of the best attentive staff that you will wish to find anywhere. Always a 10 out of 10 from me and the wife"
