5/5 Excellent
"Very clean, with an old-fashioned look. Beautiful setting, above Mono Lake, close to town of Lee Vining. Some are individual cabins, but my "cabin" was a room (#9, "Vintners cabin") comprising the top half of an A-frame. I picked it because it had a large window looking right over Mono Lake (across the highway, but 395 is a small highway). Amazing view. Pretty room with an old-fashioned look - antique desk and pretty upholstered chair, wrought-iron-looking bed. This property is quaint and charming, small but has a little bridge over a rushing creek, cabins scattered around. Right on 395 so you will hear some highway noise, which didn't bother me. I heard no other noise. Lawn outside with a table or two. I was coming after the office closed (9pm) so staff left my key pinned to bulletin board at the office. Office building is a bit hard to find if you are coming from the north! It's past the first cabins/ first parking pullout. Parking a bit tight, and not necessarily available immediately next to your cabin, at least if you come late like I did. Most of the cabins are not wheelchair-accessible, the grounds are sloping, grassy with some unevenness - depending where you park a few steps up and down the grounds may be needed to get between car and cabin. And into cabin."
