"I like the large parking lot because I usually bring my 16' fishing boat. Also, the hotel is on the mississippi river and has a beautiful view of the river."

"The hotel was updated and clean and was a good option for an overnight stay on our road trip. The heat didn’t seem to be working properly in our room, so it was a bit cooler sleeping than we would have liked but not terrible. The shower was very “short” Fine for me (5’1”), but the water hit my husband in the chest, he’s 6’1”. All in all, I would recommend it, especially for the price we paid. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is an amazing older hotel in Alexandria, Louisiana. The hotel has a beautiful lobby that was decorated very well for the holidays. However, there is very limited parking around the hotel and the hotel has none of their own parking. So when the hotel was having multiple holiday parties while we were staying there, we could not find anywhere to park. Other than the parking situation, I would stay at the Bentley again and our stay was good but not great. "

"In advertising, it needs to be stated the bedrooms are on the 2nd & 3rd floors. One of the guest was healing from a broken ankle & didn't know she had to climb to the 3rd floor. Breakfast was very good. House is very well decorated & comfortable. Christmas decorations added a bonus. Entry was easy."

"Service was amazing! The workers were all so welcoming and pleasant! Great drinks & food—1818 met our expectations, and breakfast was excellent! Room was clean, not very updated, but comfortable and clean. Decor was appropriate. The grounds are lovely! Great shopping in town also! "
