"Clean, air conditioned room, comfortable bed, good shower. Only one bedside table, no drawers or hanging space. The bar and restaurant had been very nicely refurbished. We sat outside for evening meal, garden bit overgrown and meal felt rushed but food was good. Breakfast was basic, just croissant, coffee, juice and bread. Good location for exploring the area."

"A beautiful apartment set in lovely countryside; it has convenient parking and very friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped with microwave, oven, grill and hob in the kitchen as well as kettle, coffee maker and fridge. I was surprised to find in addition to the usual items a washing machine. There was a lovely courtyard with private sitting area; throughout was a hot air balloon theme and a homely feel that sets it aside from your usual apartment. ...

"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"Manoir du Parc is an exceptional hotel. It is a beautiful mansion with lovely high-ceilinged rooms and perfect French decor. It has a small private park and swimming pool. The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect—easy walking distance to the Loire and tourist center without the bustle."

"We spent 3 nights in Loire Valley in Manoir Des Basses Rivieres, in suite Boisdenier. Our hosts welcomed us very warmly and listened yo all possible requests if there was any. The suite was top notch, very clean, nice and welcoming. The area itself was very nice with the garden and exclusive setup as there are only 3 rooms. Breakfast was all that was needed, we could've ordered specialties if needed. Fridge and available wine, beers etc if needed. All in all great experience and will not...

"The hostess/owner is fabulous! She went above and beyond to help make our stay in the Loire Valley run smoothly. She even drove us to and from the car rental agency! Breakfast is delightful, including home made jams, and the location is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to stroll around the property. There is a small shared kitchen with plates/glassware, utensils and a fridge. Go to the Amboise market for picnic foods and dine al fresco on the property at one of the outdoor tables. Highly...

"Absolutely loved our quick stay. Pascal was a perfect host and I fell in love with his dog “Tattou”. We had Pascal cook us our evening meal and it was the best piece of salmon I’ve ever eaten.
