"We had a lovely stay and week at Baber Mahal! It was our sanctuary in the middle of Kathmandu which is a very high pace city. Staff was lovely and the restaurants on sight were outstanding too Can highly recommend"

"Tastefully designed and furnished. An oasis just far away from the hustle of the city ( you can still hear the horns but softly). The walk to and from the hotel is a mini hike it is located on a hill and if your room is on the upper floors, add another mini hike as there is no elevator. And the view is fabulous - especially as the sun goes down. The dining is 5star and so are the prices. All in all a great place to stay ( if you are fit)"

"I've been staying here on visits for the past five years and the experience has always been a good one. I had a small suite located at a corner of the building and could see the Himalayas out both windows whenever the weather was clear enough. Bed was comfortable and the large desk was a pleasure to use. Wi-fi was strong and internet connection was fast. "Set in a lovely peaceful area 30 mins from Kathmandu. Well maintained golf course with a fabulous view of Mount Everest. Indoor pool was lovely and warm but in need of an upgrade. It is part of the Spa so kids should be allocated a set time so as to not to disturb adults using the spa and pool for relaxation. Room was huge and very comfortable.
