"Pleasant stay, my room was a little noisy all night as we were located at the end of a corridor by a cupboard that I suspect housed the aircon equipment. For one night it was fine but for a longer stay I would have asked to be moved. "

"The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. The rooms and elevators were old and dank. The toilet didn’t flush well and there was no space in the room to store belongings except for a very very narrow closet. If two people stayed in this room I can’t even imagine where they would put their things without tripping over everything. "

"Really odd that the plug points nearest to the bed were round/foreign and incompatible with uk plugs! Not sure why this is but it is incompatible for people who use a CPAP machine at night and a little odd all round. The hotel staff did find a workaround but this left an electric cable as a tripping hazard across the end of my bed. The hotel was great value for the price but reflective of being on the edge of a retail park. Could be noisy as the centre is really active but as long as you know...

"I made a reservation instead of my friend. He changed his plan and we changed his reservation (dates) via expedia staff but we learned that Expedia forgot to notify the hotel of the new reservation. Despite this, the hotel staff was very helpfull"

"We had a small double including a lovely breakfast which was very good value. Lovely pool. Easy free parking. Convenient for dropping son at university and visiting relatives.The hotel was old and had character, but was well maintained. Would be more eco-friendly to only change towels if left on the floor and to provide soap dispensers rather than little individual plastic bottles. "

"Booked a suite for 3 for one night. Shame that we couldn’t stay longer as the room was great and we didn’t have time to enjoy any of the pool/spa facilities. The suite booked had a separate area for the sofa bed, so added privacy. The metal four poster bed was a nice touch. We had dinner, burger and sea bass, which were both very nice. "The hotel receptionist was very welcoming, our room was immaculate and the facilities were perfect. We had a wonderful evening meal and a few drinks that was very reasonably priced.
