"We chose the Champagne Apartment and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, everything you could possibly need and well considered amenities. Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful."

"Ein sehr nettes kleines Boutique Hotel mit kleinem Pool im Innenhof. Parkplatz gehörig zum Haus, aber an der Straße, was kein Problem ist.Lage ruhig. Frühstück sehr gut. Alle sehr freundlich. Wir konnten das Ortszentrum zu Fuß erreichen. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt!"

"We returned to The Clermot again this year and stayed in the same room. We love the peacefulness and the view from the room is stunning. Breakfast seemed a tad disorganised this time (one day no bowls, another no jams, then no napkins) Our room.had a patch on the ceiling that had been repaired but not painted, the large lamp.didnt work( maybe bulb needs replacing) & one of the curtains had a water.stain. Nothing major just small.things - it wouldnt stop us from returning. "

The service of the housekeepers is just excellent. The central location puts almost everything in Franschhoek in walking distance - it comes, however at the expense of traffic noise to the proximity of Main Street."
