"My husband and I had spent a very special week in Jūrmala at the Aparthotel Wooden Villa and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, staff and proximity to the downtown Jūrmala/beach area. Our apartment was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable for our week there. Would highly recommend staying at the Wooden Villa, especially for a longer stay. "

"Fantastic stay in Jurmala for business. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. Shout out to the host who was excellent and always there at the end of the phone. It’s a stones throw from the main pedestrianised street with many nice dining options. The beach is also really close. Highly recommend."

"Svært vanskelig å få koden for å komme seg inn i leiligheten, brukte 1 time på dette. Når vi først kom oss inn var vi svært fornøyd med selve leiligheten. Litt skitten sofa, ellers var den stor og pen. Svæt bra beliggenhet, lett og komme seg til gamlebyen, markedshallen og nybyen. "

"This was a very comfortable and large apartment with two rooms and a kitchen/bath. There was a washer and dryer which we did not use but were happy to see. There is a shower and a tub! The beds were extremely comfortable - nice and firm mattresses and everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly and happy to help with details. "Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hübsch und modern eingerichtet. Bett und Sofa waren sehr bequem. Wir hätten uns etwas mehr Küchenausstattung gewünscht, z.B. kleiner Topf, etwas mehr Besteck. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war top. Wir durften früher einchecken und als uns etwas gefehlt hatte, wurde es uns noch am selben Tag gebracht. Wir waren mit Kind und Kinderwagen dort. Es gibt einen Aufzug, allerdings muss man erstmal eine kleine Treppe hoch. In den Hauseingang mit Kinderwagen...

"The host Margot’s is a very friendly guy. He was also very helpful in assisting me to find transportation to the apartment. The apartment has the feeling of home. It was wonderful to wake up to the singing of birds in the morning even though I am in the heart of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable which made me sleep very well during my entire stay. "Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice."

The hotel provides rental bikes - if the weather allows, there is a hidden bike trail northbound that is not shown on Google Maps. It starts around Malpils iela closer to the beach. There is also a statue of Peter the great with a video explanation."
