"Overall our experience was good. We had a great server named Gihan. I needed a pen to keep score on a game I was playing. The next day when I showed up he came over with a pen.i thought that was thoughtful. Our drinks and food were served quickly. I had no complaints about the staff. The only complaints is the dining room was moved upstairs as there was a function at the main dining room. The upstairs dining room is right by the rooms and the noise went on well past 11 pm. "I really enjoyed my stay at Kutumbaya. The staff were really friendly and helped organise a safari and tour of the ancient ruins for me. The food was great, particularly the Sri Lankan breakfasts. The WiFi and air con were good and I even found some Premiership football on the TV. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price."
