"Location was perfect and room comfortable. Loved that our room had a short deck which opens out towards the front of property, overlooking a breathtaking view. Only feedback in kind is, reception could have been friendlier. It totally set a morose energy to an already morose winter evening. Perhaps she had a long day and was tired 🙃"

"They had fun activities like darts and pool, and the beer they brew was excellent. The breakfast was also delicious. Our room was so comfy and spacious. Great stay, we highly recommend it. "

"Good simple but clean hotel right in the heart of town. Has a nice bar and decent restaurant. Check in is at the bar but this wasn’t a problem as it was fairly quiet. Can be a little noisy on a Saturday night when the town is out but otherwise fine. Would stay there again."

"Tolles Guesthouse am Ende des Dorfes und am Rande des Hafens. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick was durchs große Panoramafenster auch gegeben ist. Zweistöckiges Gästehaus mit 14 Zimmer und pro Stockwerk eine absolut vollausgestattete Küche, sowie pro Stockwerk je eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäschetrockner von Samsung. "On the hillside across the fjord from the airport and town, it was in the middle of having an extension when we were there (boy, Icelandic builders are hardy) so was a little out of sorts. That said, it is kept in immaculate order, and I’m sure the extension will be great. Currently it’s just 8 rooms, and won’t be so much bigger next year, but will have an internal lift so you don’t have to go outside to get to the lower rooms. There isn’t a restaurant, but the breakfast buffet is a good start...
