"My little cottage was private and comfortable. It was super quiet and had a peek-a-boo view of the fjord through the trees. I loved the trails on the property. Being a bird watcher, I appreciated that my cabin had a bird identification book. The bathroom was snug but functional. "

"Very clean, cozy. I’ve heard that some areas in Iceland have sulfuric water, and this is one of them so that was a little unpleasant (but great water pressure in shower!) and there was no freezer for our ice packs, but overall we were very satisfied. "

Ca 10 m vor der Hütte sind warmes und kaltes Wasser - das ist super, nur etwas kompliziert bei Wind;-)) Man sollte wissen: Die Gemeinschaftsküche sowie Bad/Toiletten sind ca 100 m entfernt. Und man sollte lieber vorher woanders Lebensmittel kaufen, da es in der Nähe nur einen sehr teuren „Krambudin“ gibt."

"This was such a comfortable place to stay for two nights. It was close enough to town that we could get the grocery, and restaurants. We liked that it had a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a wash and dryer. It was clean and tastefully decorated. We would definitely recommend this property to other families. "

"The little house itself was perfect. The amazing view to lake Myvatn is incredible. Beds are rather soft at least comparing to other beds in iceland. The bathroom was very little and the shower had a little dark spots at the bottom. However, the check-in and communication was not good. "Nice wooden cottage in nice surroundings with a beautiful view. Kitchen has everything you need besides a spatula. It was very clean. Check in and out was easy. Towels got changed the next day, which is a plus. The cottage was warm and comfortable during our stay in November. Only con we have is that the beds were too soft and that the laminate in the bathroom is a bit swollen. Moreover the bedrooms could have been a bit more spacious. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. "
