"First - I went to this property off-season. This review only pertains to off-season travel. Based on the Expedia add I expected a Viking themed experience. What I found was a regular motel. "The hotel is cosy and situated by the sea. The breakfast is also very good. Sadly the hotel room air-conditioner was very loud and we had to keep it off whereas the room was exceptionally cold and affecting our sleep. As it is an animal friendly hotel, I would recommend it to other pet owners."

"Interesting hotel as it was in an old mill town. we had a second level room- with a bridge access. Room got hot at night and could not figure out how to open the windows but it did have a nice fan. Nice breakfast- had a restaurant and bar in adjacent building, but since we were only one night did not get to use.
