"Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did. The Inn Keeper, Arlo, was very helpful with advice on trails. The Owner, Don, was friendly and helpful with tour and restaurant recommendations. "This property is as good as it looks in the photos. It was quiet despite being on Main St and over a breakfast/lunch/dinner place. The rooms are bright and comfortable. The owners were very responsive. "

Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Conference Center

"This was such a lovely place to stay during our visit to Acadia national park. The park entrance was about 5 min away. The staff was genuinely hospitable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The view from the room was New England serenity at its finest. We loved being able to sit in the comfort of our room and open the curtains to watch the sun rise over the atlantic ocean our last morning. We enjoyed what may be the best complementary hotel breakfast that I have ever had! We discovered on the last night that we’d missed complementary fire pit smores each night - next time! I’m so glad we chose to stay here and would definitely do it again. "

"We loved our stay here, highly recommend for anyone’s visit to Bar Harbor. Check in was easy and we were greeted with fresh coffee, cookies and baked goods in the lobby - a really nice, homey touch. Room was big and felt like we had more room than four people needed in one room, which is rare to find in a hotel room. "
