"Beautiful property! The room was very clean and well kept. The only negative is I reserved one of their historical suites, and upon check in, they said dogs were not allowed. They switched me to a standard room, but I was still charged for the suite. They said that they could not change the price since I made the reservation through a third party (Expedia)."

"Staff was great, bathroom was very clean but rest needed abit more, rug needed sweeping and computer chair was completely sticky which was easily cleaned with warm water, microwave had not been cleaned at all. "The hotel is very quiet, set away from the main road by itself. I got a room with a balcony and it was a great place to sit and watch the sun set over the blue ridge mountains.
