"We stayed overnight as we were at wedding being held there. The wedding started at 3pm, we asked if we could check in early so we could get ready before the wedding so we didn't get our clothes creased during the hour drive to the hotel. We had to pay an extra £25 to get checked in at 1pm. The amount we paid for the room and the amount my friend paid for her daughters wedding i was shocked at how much was charged. "Excellent hotel and apartments, We stayed in the apartments on the hotel grounds this were to a very high standard with everything you needed. "It was very quiet when i stayed in December, well out of season. But the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. As it was so quiet, the bar wasnt open but there are good pubs a few steps away. I would stay here again quite happily. "

"This pub with rooms is perfect for what it is. Room was clean, modern, pleasant. Food was great. People were friendly, kind and welcoming. Close to motorway but quiet and in a pretty village. Used this place to split my journey from London to friends in Scotland. Will use it again. Bravo. "

"Lovely hotel. Will say before all else - the food was amazing! Breakfast was brilliant but we also ate in the restaurant the night of and this was delicious. Would drive 1.5hours to come back again! "This proved to be one of the superior B&Bs we have ever used. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness we discovered two small brownies and two KitKats on the tea tray. Breakfast was delicious - porridge, fresh fruit salad, any cereals, full breakfasts and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon . Very inexpensive."

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business.
