"We we found to location of the property to be excellent and the staff were very hospitable and helpful. The accommodations though left a lot to be desired. The room was dated, worn, dirty, and moldy The sheets were pilled and rough. The smell of the mold was obnoxious and the hepa air filter did not work. The boards on the dock need replacing as the wood is splintered and dangerous to walk on bare footed. Also, aside from an independant food truck parked outside, there was no place to eat. I...

"This is an older motel. It's obvious that they're trying to make sure that it is surface clean. I didn't expect any more than that. The ladies that were working were super super friendly. I have an allergy to mold, mildew, and dust. All were prevalent in this room. This motel has the potential to be something super special and unique if given the proper love it needs. "

"This small property has clean, well-maintained rooms in a beautiful spot in marathon. We appreciated ease of using kayaks and paddleboards. We decided to stay 2 nights. Staff was very accommodating. We had to switch rooms, and they prioritized cleaning our new room so we could easily move from one to another. Love the 60's feel of the architecture and the privacy. "
