"The hotel was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in! Several friends have requested details of the hotel, we have praised it that much! We found the staff very friendly. The hotel itself has a warm and cosy feel and the decorations make it extremely relaxing. Our room was decorated beautifully and exactly to our taste. There was lots of restaurants on the way from the hotel to the shambles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return! "

"Was disappointed to find that there was no available gym in the hotel, even though it is advertised as such. The sofa bed in the room was broken, as was the air-conditioning. Staff attempted to fix it but didn’t make a difference. When we visited, there was a pile of mattresses sitting in the lobby. Surely there’s a better way to manage this. We shared our complaints with staff at the hotel but they showed little interest so I hope management will take note "

"Had a bit of a problem because i forgot to take the Hotels . com printed Email with me. And a bit of coms with my name but got sorted The receptionist wanted me to find the details on my phone Im crap on phones. But got sorted. Room basic but clean mattress Clean no need to get the dust mite spray out. Separate Toilet and Shower rooms and wash basin in the room. the shower i was able to get water warm. the breakfast is only continental cereals, toast, muffins croissants, Slices of ham and...

"Didn't realise hotel was so far out of town when I booked hotel but it was easy to get to by bus and a 10 minute walk. Nothing in the area but there is a Toby carvery next door but advisable to book a table as gets busy. "
