"Helpful staff, great location and a lovely stay. The hotel is looking at little tired in places, cracked walls, painted walls with stains, room upholstery in need of a clean. Im sure the new management will sort these out. The fire alarm did go off multiple times during our stay."

"great location views out to sea, over the harbour and the Abbey - comfy bed with choice of pillows - well appointed bathroom - looked fairly new - good sized shower with lovely smelling shower gel in the dispenser -good breakfast ( asked for poached eggs - came in good time and were "perfect" ) real beer ( Timothy Taylors Landlord ) in the bar -all staff on duty through our visit were very professional efficient and polite -would recommend, will visit again -thanks "

"The hotel is actually connected to the railway station which is excellent if travelling by train. We loved our stay. The heating was broken in our room. We were offered a different room but decided to accept the offer of a heater intead. Only one issue regards breakfast. There was no option for vegetarian sausages was part of the main buffet. Also there was only one egg option which was fried. To order scrambled eggs would have incurred a whole breakfast upgrade. A bit disappointing so may not...
