"We stayed for 6 days 5 nights. The location is spectacular. We purchased the meal plan which was a great value, and the ocean grill food was delicious!. Staff were excellent and helpful. The beach area is excellent. Rooms were nice but dated. Our room needed some minor plumbing repairs. There are 2 restaurants to choose from. One offers fine dining the other more average fare. "We had a lovely time. The whole team was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the golf course and the ferry are super useful. The rooms are nice and spacious with good views across the sound. Some of the decor and condition is a little bit old/worn. But this didn’t affect our enjoyment. The tennis courts and the pool were closed for renovations, so we weren’t able to use them"

"Overall, the hotel/resort is very nice and serene. The beach front rooms provide a relaxing atmosphere. The current renovations make for a couple of hazardous areas, but surprisingly, no noise. There is only one restaurant on the premises - it has limited hours and is overpriced. The food was superb and the service excellent."

"This is an old school hotel. Reminds me of a B&B. The room was pleasant but rather small. I found the a/c not responsive. The restaurant, Ascots, was excellent. Service was very good, including the housekeeping. The continental breakfast was adequate. My biggest complaint is that the pool was more ornamental than functional. I never used it. "
