"Nice hotel within Atlantis. I would suggest the Royal but with larger families then the Reef is a great option. The Bahamian staff is really fantastic. Great people. "

"We paid an extra for an ocean view but were disappointed to find it was mostly a building view with just a slight bay view—definitely not what was advertised. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, we expected at least a small acknowledgment, but there was no special touch, not even a simple card or congratulations. Service was also lacking. Despite requesting fresh towels and water from five different staff members, nothing was ever brought to our room. Late check-out wasn’t accommodated...

"The food was really lacking. People visiting an oceanfront “retreat” want lots of seafood choices, not meatloaf, ribs, etc. breakfast was pretty much the same every day. The food was good but we were disappointed by the options."

"The stay was the best, we were provided a complimentary room upgrade on arrival which was an amazing surprise. The accommodations are beyond amazing. It is the most professionally managed resort I have ever stayed.We would have appreciated a little broader menu in the main dining restaurant (more varieties), but the choices there were deliciously prepared. A real repeat, 5 star!"

"Always a fantastic time at the SLS Baha Mar. Stayed in the suite and love it. Only issue is the place is so busy during high season (Jan-Apr), that even getting restaurant reservations and pool chair reservations is almost impossible. Its no longer the hidden gem it used to be. "

"Thought it would be like Las Ventanas in Mexico and was not in any way. Outrageously expensive in every way. Broken paving tiles on stair treads and elsewhere near pool. Will not return. "

"Property was very convenient for our family of 4, great space and very nice overlooking the marina. Easy to walk to main resort and off resort to local amenities. Would recommend for anyone looking for something beyond a hotel room. "
