"The staff was wonderful. Love the family cabin. Someone trying to get in at night… I’m assuming was a bear… was a little alarming . Other than that I had a relaxing , quiet, peaceful stay at Emerald Bay Lodge!!! Will definitely stay again. Thank you for making my vacation great!"

"We have fished Lake Cuyamaca for many years and wanted a view of the Lake to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. We had a beautiful view and a restful time. Our room was equipped with a bidet, clawfoot jacuzzi tub and a shower with so many settings that it was delightful showering and being spoiled. The staff was amazing and helped make our stay special. Special thanks to Sarah, Uni and Adam for taking such good care of us. We are already planning our next visit. "

"We enjoyed a two night stay in a premium lodge room. Comfy beds and great big tubs. A maintenance issue required us to move rooms on the second night but the staff made it easy by moving our luggage and it was just as nice of a room. Lovely on site hiking trails and close to Ano Nuevo State Park for seal viewing. Good restaurant on the grounds too. "

"This property is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. We stayed in serenity room. The only negative thing i would say is we heard everyone above us walking pretty loud. Would definitely stay here again. I would just choose upstairs room. The room cleanliness was great. Really clean and very stylish rooms. Suoer cute. "

"Great location. The burger and toasted cheese sandwiches that we ate in the snack bar were as good as any others we had in California. Price is high for the room but that is to be expected when staying in a NP and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and suited our needs."

"This place was amazing, the staff is attentive and super helpful, super easy check in process. 10/10 would stay again. Super close to the village so that’s a plus, on site parking is always nice! The bed was a little stiff but everything about the Sleepy Forest Cottages was great"
