"I would have given it 5 stars because of the kind owner, however my last night was ruined by very inconsiderate and loud guests; they were up and chatting boisterously until after midnight! I ended up restless and not ready for my trip the following day. I’m guessing it’s with the nature of the building with no sound proofing installed, so I hope there were signages everywhere to be respectful to other guests given this status."

"The apartment is facing the waterfront -Porto Antico. The view cannot be described and it’s breathtaking in every time of day. Very close to the Old Town. Police is everywhere so you feel safe wherever you are. The apartment itself was clean but the bathroom not super clean - found some remains of hair in the shower. "Great location just opposite the cathedral so a view of the cathedral. Got a little noisy at times but can’t complain as the location was fantastic, walking distance to everything. Apartment was clean and very spacious, but the building is very old so not looking perfectly new but I think that’s to be expected and overall excellent value for money."

"Steps away from Genova Piazza Principe Train station. A convenient location as we travelled to Cinque Terre and Turin, but added in travel days in Genova, staying at B and B. Older property; renovated annd clean, with the exception of really old wooden flooring. Excellent breakfast buffet. "This review is for sister hotel next door at hotel Grand Savoia where we got upgraded. It’s great they let us check in early at 10 am coming from a cruise. A great 5 star hotel with nice reception desk and elegant lounge. Room was very nice clean and a good size except mattress was little soft. Train station and bus stops including bus for hop on hop off bus is just across."

Perfectly situated above the plaza and train station and at the end of the street, full of restaurants and things to see and do and a great view and wonderful staff and convenient and clean and an excellent value for the money. I loved this hotel. I stay at three star hotels to five star hotels and this was the perfect hotel for the visit to Genoa Italy. "
