"Lovely place to stay if visiting Chitwan National Park 5 minutes in cab to local town with riverside views of Park, where you can sit and relax in upstairs bar watching rhinos and elephants crossing the river. Hotel organised all our trips :- jeep safaris, river canoe, elephant riding and breeding centre. Hotel has a nice inside restaurant , outside bar and pool. Staff were excellent and place was very clean "

"The staff are very polite and accommodating. My safari adventures were well run and the naturalist (Nabin) was so knowledgeable that I even got to spot a tiger! Not many people get to see one. I highly recommend this place. I stayed in one of the well appointed safari tents overlooking the national park. We could even hear a rhino at night munching away under our tent! "

"Overall property was pretty good with garden area and outside dining. Food was acceptable. Off the main road and so less dust and traffic noise. Fan and AC unit worked. Room not as clean as it should be. Main problem, they had screen doors on each room which made a loud banging noise every time they were closed. With about 20 rooms that can make for a lot of unpleasant noise especially at all hours of the night. Also lots of people were smoking in all of the nice outside areas, not in the rooms...

"Our Stay at the Jungle Sunset Camp was a real good surprise! The Hotel is on the river, very quiet, but still walking distance to the main street of Sauraha (not so big). The room is quite nice, spacious and clean. The bed is indeed slightly hard, but that's our preference, so we slept super well. There is hot water in the shower (not that common in Nepal). "This hotel is excellent in both location and hospitality. The staff are all incredible—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was nearly perfect, with the only issue being the water pressure in the shower, which could use improvement. The kitchen staff stood out for their kindness and assistance, especially Hitlar and Rohit, who were exceptionally sweet. "From the moment we entered the downstairs reception area we were transported to a place of calm and friendly serenity. The rooms were clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed including a small mini bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. "Perfect location in chitwan for accessing the national park and river. 10minute walk to the shops and restaurants although we ate at the lodge a few times as this was ideal. "The best things about this resort are the location and the staff. Sabrina on reception is always smiling and cheerful. She has "magic fingers" which repairs things. Sitaram Streatham is an outstanding waiter in the restaurant. He is very attentive but also very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Lovely gentle mannered man. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room so i struggle with wet floors but i bought a floor squeegy in town for just over £1 and that helped a lot. ...
