"There is a building site across the road from La Maison Hibiscus. There are a lot of dogs in the immediate vicinity who bark noisily for extended periods. The windows don't shut properly because the metal bars on the inside block the handles from being moved to the closed position. The hot water tank is very small resulting in all but the briefest of showers running cold. The air conditioning was ineffective, blowing warm air. "Nice little bungalow setup…clean, right across the street from the beach. Lush green setting, lots of flowering trees, etc. Our room was small, inexpensive, but for a few nights it’s all you need for a couple. Lizzy was very sweet, efficient, and helpful. She made us delicious breakfasts with eggs, toast, and local fruit…very good coffee, too. They are working on the WiFi…only available in lobby. Staff there til around 6…so arrange key pickup if you arrive later. We would def stay again....
