"Can't say enough good things about the property but specifically the owners. They were kind, attentive and friendly. Made us feel special. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. "Nice quiet place with lovely scenery and very comfortable rooms and large beds. The pool was a decent size, but the hot tub was not warm when we visited. Helpful staff as there are limiited dining options, so be prepared to drive somewhere to eat. Not easy to spot the entrance to the hotel. It is accessible via the double wooden door and an intercom as seen from google street view of the address. Would recommend for couples. "

"Room was very small - loft room so you could not stand up straight from toilet or at head of bed. We did not realise the size of the room but the it was very clean. There are bigger rooms available which were sold out when we booked but we did not realise just how small the room would be. No air conditioning but we requested a fan. Just a single window in the ceiling. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Lovely restaurant attached to hotel and right on beach which was really great."

The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "
