"Good location with parking (charged £7 per night). Clean with very comfortable beds and quality bedlinen and towels. Restaurant on site, cannot comment as we unfortunately couldn’t eat there as big time delay in food service. Many choices for dining in Salisbury a short drive away. Recently renovated, looks fresh and modern. Long corridors, two floors, no lifts. Our room felt like it was one of the furthest away from reception and up one floor so not great if you have mobility issues or when you...

"Excellent location, very convenient for Salisbury Cathedral, Guildhall Market, Poultry Cross, tons of shopping, very accessible. Staff are excellent, very friendly & helpful. Great breakfast included. Hotel has a parking lot, additional cost of 7.50 GBP daily. Worth it if you have a car. About 20 minute drive to Stonehenge. Great place!"

"Had a lovely stay at the Chapter House. The hotel building is beautiful full of character and quirky. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom with cathedral view. Staff were very professional and helpful. The only negative was the underwhelming breakfast but there are lots of eating places close by. Would definitely recommend hotel but give breakfast a miss next time"

"This is a 4-plus star hotel. Sure, it's simple and not your usual American hotel. But the owner showed us to our rooms, the rest of the staff was great, the room was clean and had THE BEST beds. Huge towels! We got cookie when we arrived and a fantastic breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Very short notice return from sea and needed to be in Salisbury . . . Found this. Remarkable. Friendly and willing to receive me past usual closing. Still a little raw from refurbishment but warm, comfortable and very clean. The staff are young and enthusiastic and the largely Indian dining and event provision is ambitious. "

"The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price."
