"Overrall a good stay, the breakfast is not much to choose from, and is not the reason to pick this hotel. We upgraded to seaview room, witch was very nice with the terrasse right over the sea. they say all romm is sea view witch is correct in a way, as you can see the sea, but the lower cost rooms is having the sundeck to view over before you see the sea. but not a bad choice. i would stay there again"

"Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and safe. Good location. We was supposed to stay at Kendwa, but because of a bank fraud (!) we left the original plan, and booked through hotels.com at this place. We are very glad how everything turned out. This location at Nungwi is good. At Kendwa we would be stuck at our resort. Here we had more flexibility on what to do all the time. "Das Maisha Nungwi ist wirklich zu empfehlen, wenn man ein kleines und feines Resort für Paare sucht. Das Zimmer war echt top. Sehr schön und sehr sauber. Die Anlage ist auch sehr ordentlich in Schuss und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die beiden Pools sind auch schön und sehr angenehm temperiert. Das A la carte Frühstück ist super. "Nice place. Looked just like the pictures. Good size rooms. Breakfast and breakfast area was also very good. Hotel is just by the old quarters of Stone town. Almost all staff was very friendly (just one younger lady in reception that for some reason was not so nice to our daughter). Good price."

"We had a lovely stay at Kena beach hotel for 13 nights. Rooms was very spacious. Beds were comfortable and equipped with moskito net. Every evening the rooms are sprayed with bug spray. Little terasse outside with a rack to dry swimwear or other small things. All staff was super friendly and nice. Pool is covered with roof so it was not getting too hot, the sea was always very warm. "Relatively easy to find hotel, walking distance from ferry and other places of historical significance such as the Slave market. Very clean room, exquisite furniture and decorations. Air con and wifi worked very well. Delightful and pleasant staff, engaging and gave tips on areas to visit. Delicious breakfast, great choice. Will definitely visit again."

"A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. "

"Personnel accueillant et serviable du début à la fin (j’ai fait une nuit)je m’y suis senti bien et en sécurité à l’intérieur. On ne peut pas y accéder par voiture il faut marcher un tout petit peu. La chambre était propre il n’y avait pas de saleté ni de bêtes. Le personnel repasse dans la chambre l’après midi pour remettre un coup d’anti moustique. Petit dej ok avec fruits omelette et qques specialites. J’ai pas testé la piscine. J’y retournerai sûrement. "
