"The Lavana hotel was in a great location. Near central market and in the heart of Chinatown. The hotel was a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Reasonable value for money. The area was one of the homeless hotspots at night. They were not a problem and kept themselves to themselves. Nice people going through hard times. I would consider staying again. "

"Good pricing for the agenda. Good location . Clean n friendly the staffs. But room service lousy, stayed 3 nites not even once did they made up d room though did hang the "make room" tag. Disappointing compared to early stay otherwise good."

"I made a reservation for "Family Suite" for 4 adults & make full payment upon booking. But upon arrival, the hotel informed us that the "Family Suite" was "Overbooked" and offered us instead two (2) separate rooms. This is my first experience of "Overbooked" booking a hotel through Hotels.com Saya telah membuat tempahan untuk "Family Suite" ( 4 orang dewasa ) dengan bayaran penuh semasa booking. "check in and check out was easy, deposit was refunded quickly room was clean, warm shower available, coffee and water available toilet tap was not working well and sink was leaking initially and complained to owner and owner sent maintenance over however we werent notified about it and got a sudden door bell ring for repair :/.... pls maintain properly before renting out to others"

"Very seldom i leave comments. But i really want to leave my comment this round. Very clean room for the budget that we pay. Only limitation for travellers with car is no parking available so dont ended up with fine for wrong parking. Public transport is superb since LRT station is just 2 minutes walk. Bus, cab, grab services are easily available"

"Just check out after a very good sleep. Bed very comfy and quiet. Very very clean very friendly staff and really good location. Room not big but it's okay since they have provided all nessesery like TV fridge desk nice bed clean modern bathroom hot shower good WiFi. Also water filter and coffee tea as much needed can take without pay penny. We are really had a good time with this hotel. Price also very cheap if compared. Thanks "

"Location is very convenient,, you can go anywhere from near by station. Hotel manager is so kind and supportive. Room is classical old unlike urban style. And TV does not work however if you need to just accessible place, it’s alright. A little hilarious place, maybe I can recommend for younger people."

"Didn’t feel comfortable here at all- only female in the whole place for four nights- would have gone somewhere else but couldn’t get a refund and didn’t have the funds. Staff were ignorant and rude tbh. They lived in the dorm opposite I think. Good location though. "

"Basic hostel in a great location. Stayed in 4 bed dorm. My only concern is room had an old style key and it was up to each person to lock the door behind them, if this didn’t happen the door stayed unlocked. The 8 bed dorm has an automatic locking door. "
