We liked that the room has a functional kitchen and a washer dryer. Although a 12 min walk to Ueno, it was flat. if one uses the Iriya Exit, it cuts a minute or two. Staff was courteous and professional.
The downside, most properties that I’ve booked has 11 or 12nn check out time, this property has a 10am checkout.

The Capitol Hotel is elegant, beautifully fashionable in an understated sophisticated calming manner. All staff are excellent and very polite and attentive. Breakfast is a phenomenal treat of fresh fruits, vegetables, berries, fish, meats, baked pastries, jams etc.
My only comment is that both lunch (in the main dining room) portions and the Chinese dinner portions are slightly too small but absolutely delicious and the service is excellent.
We loved our 2 night stay and our morning swims above the city skyline; breathtaking views!!

The hotel was nice but when you turned on the heat or air it whistled so loud… so in the middle of the night it would wake you. So I just turned off all heat/air. Other wise was a nice place staff was friendly
