"Staff — excellent. Food — very good. Location — amazing. But two minor quibbles. 1. Bar closes at 6 — right when I start thinking about a cocktail. There is a space above the reception that is set up like a bar but was never open the two times we stayed there. 2. Rooms are luxurious but there is no glass in the windows/doors so when it is hot (most of the time in Zihuatanejo) you have all the shutters closed for A/C so no view at all. "This was our second visit to Aura Del Mar; the first visit was when it was named Brisas Del Mar in 2010. This property has kept all the charm that we feel in love with back in 2010 and has made some incredible additions since. The pool deck over looking the ocean was peaceful and gave you a beautiful 360• view. The landscaping is gorgeous and tended to. The onsite spa has been updated and is lovely. Coffee machines in every room with fresh ground coffee provided. Turn down service at night....

"This property is beautiful and conveniently located and the staff was incredible and extremely accommodating! The only reason I won’t give it five stars is due to our AC going out twice and our fire alarm low battery going off at 4 AM. For a four night stay, we had issues three of the nights. Otherwise, the rest of the stay was fantastic. "

"Beautiful property I had the deluxe suite which they also call the master suite. It had the bedroom and bathroom, huge, living area and dining area, outdoor patio/kitchen, beautiful views of the bay from the bedroom and other areas of the unit. The pool, which is a long lap pool was sparkling clean and very refreshing. Also a nice little continental breakfast each morning served by the friendly staff.
