"The Thompson is a modern Mexican hotel located on Playa Ropa. You can walk to restaurants and are an easy 5 min cab or 100 MXP to the center. We enjoyed our stay and ate at both of the restaurants on the property which were excellent. The massage was wonderful and if you need help with a tour they are accommodating. A lovely get away! "

"What a lovely hidden gem in the Playa de Ropa area! Each room was beautifully decorated, the staff was attentive and friendly. We had been staying in Ixtapa and needed an early check-in, the owner was prompt in his response and welcomed us upon arrival. There is a great breakfast offered (with a charge) and the pool was lovely for an afternoon dip. Would definately stay again if we go back to Zihuatanejo."
