"Loved the warm welcome drink and hospitality. The grounds are beautiful and our room was over the top with all natural wood and stone decor. Our surname posted on the front door was a nice personalized touch! We loved the balcony hammock and jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and bathroom waterfall! Access to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for a huge aviary, exotic wildlife and gorgeous waterfalls. The property is terraced on a hill so lots of stairs."

"So let me start by saying I loved the property. It was absolutely beautiful and stunning to wake up every morning to such a beautiful place and view. The staff is general were great. Few things that basically didn’t allow me to give it an excellent rating. 1) really far from anywhere. Had I known this I would have rented a car earlier and would have not stayed as long in one spot. 2) We were bumped off two days earlier due to a large group coming. "Great choice for a one night stay before/after flight! It does feel a bit outdated, but everything still looked nice and clean. I got my hopes up reading about the coffee trail, thinking it was a longer trail, but it is very short. It is definitely still worth experiencing, but keep in mind it only takes about 10minutes to get though. We had dinner out instead of trying to the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that. "Flowers and tranquility! We got in late from the airport and found everything perfect. There was a security guard on site who let us in and we found our room without any problem. There is a friendly cat and a wonderful delicious breakfast as well as delicious food if you choose to have dinner or lunch at the hotel. I will definitely be returning next time. I’m in Costa Rica. "We stayed here for one night, and it was lovely. Supper and breakfast were great, and soaking in the jacuzzi while listening to all the birds, cicadas and other animals was very relaxing. "We loved our stay here but wish we’d had at least two nights. It was raining so we couldnt see the volcano. Instead we took a hike to a waterfall and strolled the grounds which were gorgeous. We enjoyed the night tour and saw multiple species of frogs."
