"Very central property, very convenient for visiting the city. Not quite the 5* we expected but was ok for one night. Our room was down under ground level with an interesting view over gutter pipes and it was quite noisy - both from inside and outside the hotel. We only booked one night, it is unlikely we would have stayed longer than this."

"We stayed in room 50 which was a lovely room but it was very cold at night. The only thing that was very annoying was the extractor fan in the bathroom it stayed on all night & was very noisy. It was meant to only come on when the light was on but obviously it was broken. We only realised this when we came back to our room late that night. "

"Very comfortable 1-night stay. Convenient location for the city centre, with lots of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The room was nice and well-kept, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No parking available when we arrived, but we were able to find a space in the public car park next to it after waiting for 10 mins for a space to free up."

"Brilliant location just far enough away that it is nice and quiet but within a close commute to hit all major areas of interest. Beautiful restaurant and bar within the hotel, very comfortable and stylish decor. The only downside I would say is it was let down but having dogs in the lounge area when going for a drink before dinner. I know many people like this, and like the opportunity to bring their pet everywhere but personally felt it brought the atmosphere to a more country pub with dogs...

Room was clean and tidy but the bed was quite hard and you could feel springs, not the best but we were only there for a dew nights so didnt ask to move rooms. I wish we had as after 3 nights it gave me backache! Breakfast was fine, typical buffet but very busy at 9am "
