"The tasting menu and local wine pairing was the highlight of my stay and may also be the highlight of my 3 week trip of Japan. The quality and thoughtfulness of the dishes are complimented superbly by sommelier So-san's wonderful service and exquisite selection of world-class wine. The room and hotel conditions were good but nothing extraordinary. The main downsides are the poor sound proofing and lack of elevators for those transporting heavy bags."

"We had a great stay at the Cozy Inn, Otaru. Building is very well laid out, and rooms were fairly sizeable, new and clean. There isn't much of a common area, or kitchen etc but that's fine as there is lots in the area. "Covering pretty much what I need. Staffs are nice. Locations good. Public bath is very good. The only thing is need education/guide how to use facility properly for people from over seas.
