"Rooms are in need of improvement. They are dirty and outdated. Food service good but prices to high for what you get. Need tv in room. A table in room would be great if no tv so you could play cards etc. a comfortable chair would be highly recommended. As a travel agent I would not recommend it to my customers because they would only be upset as we were. "

Restaurants and grocery stores are limited but we just stopped in Hilo for provisions, made some nice dinners in the full kitchen and ate on the pato watching the sun set over the Pacific. Wonderful location if you want to experience rural Hawaii."
