We had a quick bite to eat in the restaurant and meal was fresh and very enjoyable with great service. However, the only let down was the breakfast, which was vast and a run off her feet woman trying to clean tables, show guests to their table whilst trying to keep the vast food topped up Very under staffed and a better breakfast at Mc D’s would have been more enjoyable! "

"This hotel is going extensive refurbishment. Could not have dinner as the kitchen was being re-eqiped. Excellent public rooms. Friendly staff who did everything they could to make your stay enjoyable. Hotel has an older part and a more modern extension. I had a large double room in the original part of the hotel. No central hearing but there was an efficient stand alone heater. Bathroom had a radiator. The room was bright and airy and was well furnished. No traffic noise. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely staff Easy to park car Bed a bit too hard for me but slept ok Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. Slight issue with bar floor area which I noticed once pointed out was dealt with as best as could, before maintenance can sort "
