"Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access"

"Staff was understanding and accomodating. Had to extend our stay a couple of times. They were able to keep us in the same room and even helped when i put the wrong dates into expedia."

"Beautiful facility - front desk staff very kind and helpful. The ONLY issue we had was with the Owner or Regional Manager - I have a Service Dog & my spouse who was tending to its care was not treated very well while staying there. So perhaps think twice before stopping with a Service Animal as it’s not the most friendly place for them."
