"Excellent new take on the hostel concept. En suite room with 4 single beds and with minimal reception or lobby, urban location was perfect for exploring the island, parking opposite, perfect for families or youth on the move between places."

"Staff seemed unable to cope due to busy period, and were not as friendly as I'm used to in the south of Germany. There was a wedding on too so maybe due to that. Stlfling hot in room, and room Aircon control was not working. Great place though, would go back."

"Nice hotel with good breakfast. Common areas could be modernised and perhaps a little cleaner. The Michelin starred restaurant is quite fully booked so book in advance!"

"Room was large and clean with a nice shower. Parking was available which was good. It was hot in the room but there were fans available and we opened the windows but it is a busy noisy road. We drove to the lake and had a meal in the marina which was lovely. "

"Stayed here two years ago. Just feels like it has run down a bit. Had a problem with a waiter and spoke to manager about it. Not with complaining attitude but so he would know. I’d want to know if I was mgr. not much in the way of apology… maybe the waiter was the owner’s nephew? Just. Didn’t have an overall feel of service."
